Coconut butter can be eaten right from the jar! Mix into fruit smoothies and use it in your favorite desserts.
NOTE: Coconut Butter is soft above 80 degrees F and solid at lower temperatures. You can soften the coconut butter by putting the jar inside a bowl of warm water.
When you open a fresh jar of coconut butter you will see a layer of coconut oil (it will look similar to the separated oil you find on the top of a jar of raw almond butter.)
Under this thin layer of coconut oil is the butter which is hard and has a completely different flavor than the coconut oil.
